Bird Photos: Rarities: Yellow-crowned Night-Heron
This bird was found by Ron Thorn on 7/23/02 at
the Coyote Point Marina, San Mateo, CA. At the time of this sighting,
it was apparently the 2nd San Mateo County record and the 3rd
Northern California record. It was seen for one more day and seemed
to have departed by the 3rd day.
